Tom joined Borelli Investment Company in 1995 in its accounting department. Within a very short time, he proved his abilities in other areas and soon began to assume added duties. As his responsibilities expanded, Tom was promoted multiple times to assistant controller, asset manager, and director of information services. With the rise of the Internet in the mid 90’s, Tom spearheaded the creation of Borelli’s first web site and e-mail system. He also helped provide Internet access to tenants in Borelli-owned buildings. Next, he created an integrated, accounting system that streamlined Borelli Investment Company’s financial operations. Tom became active in Borelli’s property management business, managing a number of buildings including 200,000 square foot Countryside Plaza. He was also named a partner on several of Borelli’s development projects, and most recently developed Junction Office Center, a 77,400 square foot office condominium complex in North San Jose’s Golden Triangle. Tom holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from San Jose State University. He is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA).
